Massage
A table massage will stimulate the relaxation response—slowing the heart rate, decreasing stress and boosting the immune and digestive systems. The massage will be customized to the client’s needs of the day, with extra attention spent on trouble areas if requested. It will include pressure of the client’s choice, as well as a combination of Swedish massage, deep tissue, acupressure, Shiatsu, yoga-style stretches, and gentle traction. Organic oil blends with customized aromatherapy will be used, as well as heated towels and stones.
Please let the therapist know if you require unscented oils or if you are allergic to nut-based oils.
30 minutes: $45
60 minutes: $65
75 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $95
Clients with more detailed needs (for example low back pain, sciatic pain or a recent injury) might consider booking for longer than an hour to better address specific issues while ensuring a complete full-body experience.
Treatments begin at the scheduled time. For your schedule, allow an additional 10 minutes or so for your consultation, foot bath and post-massage tea. If you are late, the amount of time you are late will be taken off your treatment time--not the additional time--at full cost. In this case, the hospitalities will be provided to you at the therapist’s discretion.
Thai Yoga Massage
Experience an energizing and balancing massage in the comfort of your own clothes. Thai massage is performed on a thick floor mat padded with kapok, with the client fully clothed. This treatment include passive yoga-style stretches--in which the client is supported, moved and stretched entirely by the therapist, joint mobilization, acupressure, compression along energy channels, gentle traction and rocking.
Thai massage promotes homeostasis in the body and decreases stress, which is a primary cause of illness. It also promotes flexibility, increasing the joints’ range of motion and preventing injuries. This style of massage can be a valuable part of an athlete’s training regiment, as well as alleviating the physical stresses of everyday living.
As well as freeing the body, Thai massage seeks to balance the energy flow along the many channels in the body. All channels will be worked in a traditional Thai massage; energy work may also be customized to the client or condition. Clients will leave feeling grounded, relaxed and energized.
Traditionally, Thai massage does not use oils; however, customized blended oils may be used on the neck, hands and feet. Hot towels, stones and neck wraps mayl also be used. Because of the multiple positions and many stretches in each position, a full-body Thai massage traditionally takes two or more hours. Shortened treatment times are available, but the benefits increase the longer the session.
60 minutes (considered an introduction to Thai Massage): $75
75 minutes: $90
90 minutes: $105
2 hours: $140

Hospitalities
All massages are customized to the client’s particular needs. Free of charge, all treatments include:
--a pre-massage foot bath with salts and essential oils.
--the client’s choice of a customized oil blend with carrier oils designed to nourish the skin and organic essential oils designed to soothe muscles, boost the immune system and calm the spirit.
--a few minutes of rest or meditation (akin to the savasana at the end of yoga) where the client may rest undisturbed in a cozy configuration of heated blankets, hot stones, neck wraps and an eye pillow. (This time does not count against your treatment time.)
--a shower is also available in the salon for clients who wish to shower before or after their massage. Shampoo, bodywash and towels will be provided for you.
In the event that a client is late, that time will be taken off their treatment time. However, in some cases, the therapist may need to skip one or all of the hospitalities to keep her schedule running on time.
